Call Numbers - Book Addresses

A book's call number is its address in the library. If you can read and understand the call number, then you can find the book.

Call numbers are located on the spine of the book.

The Library Catalog

The library catalog is a great tool to help you discover and find the different sources we have in the library. The catalog contains an electronic record of every single source the library owns. After you search for a source, the catalog will give you the source's call number (address) so that you can find it on the shelf.

Let's practice using the catalog while completing the Library Catalog Scavenger Hunt.

Before we move on, let's play Who Want's to be a Millionaire
